Fashion Model Style Shoot with Kasia at the Beach
After our Cherish the Dress session with Kasia, one of my lovely Parley Manor bride, we decided to take things in a fresh direction. Kasia had brought along some of her favourite outfits, and it was the perfect opportunity to switch from romantic bridal to something more fashion-forward. The result was a stylish, editorial-inspired shoot by the sea that showed off Kasia’s versatility and confidence.
From Bridal Gown to Fashion Edge
The Cherish the Dress shoot was all about soft, elegant storytelling. For this next set, we created a very different mood: bold, modern, and full of attitude. Kasia embraced the change completely, slipping effortlessly from a bride reliving her wedding day to a model striking high-fashion poses.
Wardrobe & Styling
Kasia’s outfit choices gave us a lot to play with. From chic jackets and flowing fabrics to statement pieces with strong lines, each look brought something new. By combining her wardrobe with the natural textures of the beach location—sand, sea, and sky—we created a series of images that felt both editorial and timeless.
Playing with Light & Movement
To enhance the fashion photography feel, I worked with a range of lighting approaches. Some frames were clean and bright, using natural light to emphasise simplicity. Others were moodier, with strong shadows and contrast to highlight texture and shape. Movement played a big part too—whether it was wind catching her hair or the flow of fabric in motion.
Favourite Photographs
A few highlights stand out for me from our session:
- The dramatic shot where Kasia is on the rocks letting the black fabric blow in the breeze, full of energy and cinematic flair.
- In the same outfit, striding so confidently through the waves.
- The elegance of the green dress with the white in the sand dunes.
Why Do a Shoot Like This?
A session like this is about so much more than photographs—it’s about celebrating who you are. Whether you’re a bride revisiting your dress, someone wanting to express their style, or looking to create something just for yourself, shoots like this can be deeply personal. It connects closely with my Just You service, which is designed for portraits that celebrate individuality and confidence.
For those thinking about building or updating a modelling portfolio, adding fashion-inspired looks alongside bridal imagery is a great way to show versatility. It gives you a gallery that feels editorial, professional, and unique.
I’m also always interested in exploring creative collaborations and “time for” work swaps—so if you have a concept in mind and the passion to create, I’d love to hear from you.
✨ If you’d like your own Cherish the Dress or fashion-inspired portrait session, get in touch—I’d love to create something special for you.
