Dorset location photography with a Parley Manor bride
Fashion shoot on location in Dorset
It’s always a joy to find someone who loves being photographed and Kasia was that. I photographed her wedding at Parley Manor and she loved the whole thing so much that we arranged a location photography session for a Treasure the Dress shoot; Treasure the Dress is a nicer version of the Trash the Dress trend that developed in the USA recently, where after the wedding when the dress has been carefully looked after and cherished, another photo shoot is arranged, on location, when the dress is just a little less precious. Often the shoot involves getting wet, with all the attendant risks of damaging the dress, hence the American “Trash”.
I much prefer to “Treasure the Dress”!

Location Photography in Dorset
It’s always great to work on location, to find opportunities all around, even when the location has been used before, there is always something new to find working with someone different and today was no exception.
Once we’d got the wedding dress at the beach photography completed, it was play time and Kasia opened up her bag full of all sorts of things.
The sea was much warmer than either of us expected, it had been a mild winter and a warm spring. My problem was I’d forgotten to wear shorts so had to roll up my trousers.
Fancy a location photography shoot like this?
This particular photography session was “Time for”; Kasia gave me her time and energy and I gave her mine, and I got some lovely photographs for my portfolio and she got some for herself. If you’ve got something special to bring to the session, we could do the same.
