One of Dorset’s most popular venues, and deservedly so. Close to Christchurch, and very handy for Bournemouth. A building with a wonderful history that until quite recently was a burned out wreck – you’d never think that now!
Athelhampton, near Dorchester, provides the ideal venue for a Wedding, with facilities for Civil Wedding ceremonies, dining rooms for wedding receptions and space for your evening party. And a photographer’s dream location – so many beautiful setting’s for your wedding photographs.

Along with Friends of the Earth, enormously influential and wider in scope, until recently, than the more traditional organisations such as the RSPB and the Wildlife Trusts.
I remember doing volunteer work with FoE back in the 80s, collecting paper for recycling by going door to door, long before local authorities had interest in the issue. We made so much money, for our local group and for the national organistaion!
